Ian Jones Joins The Kentown Wizard Foundation!

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Jones as the new Chief Executive Officer of The Kentown Wizard Foundation. He officially stepped into the role in April 2025, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission of supporting children and young people with life-limiting conditions and serious disabilities.

Ian Jones, CEO of The Kentown Wizard Foundation, says:

“I’m hugely excited to be joining the Kentown Wizard team and helping to build on the amazing work that they do in helping fund charities that make a real (and incredible) difference to children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and serious disabilities. In the short time since joining, I have met many of the incredible charities funded by the Foundation and have had the privilege of meeting some of the young people whose lives are being improved. It is both humbling and heart-warming.”

Ian’s breadth of experience and values-led approach make him a natural fit to lead the Foundation into its next chapter. He joins the team following a successful career in industry, having served as both CFO and CEO across several manufacturing businesses. With a strong foundation in both finance and engineering, Ian brings a unique combination of sharp analytical insight, strategic thinking and hands-on leadership experience to the Foundation. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with KPMG in both London and Sydney.

As we begin this new chapter, we remain steadfast in our commitment to have a positive and enduring impact on the lives of children and young adults with life-threatening conditions and serious disabilities. Ian joins a passionate team and a number of dedicated charity partners. We look forward to the leadership and insight he will bring to the Kentown Wizard team and to the opportunities this will create to further strengthen our impact.
